Applications are open for the World Trade Organization (WTO) Essay Award for Young Economists 2024. The aim of the award is to promote high-quality research on trade policy and international trade cooperation and to reinforce the relationship between the WTO and the academic community.
The winner of the 2023 WTO Essay Award for Young Economists is Xiao Ma of Peking University HSBC Business School. His paper, “College Expansion, Trade, and Innovation: Evidence from China”, was ranked first by the Selection Panel.
