1. African Science Journalism Award
The Science for Africa Foundation (SFA Foundation) is launching the Africa Science Journalism Awards (ASJA) to recognize and honor outstanding health, science, and development reporting in Africa. The awards aim to improve science coverage and combat misinformation. Supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the ASJA will be awarded to African journalists covering health, climate change, environment, and agriculture. A science journalism workshop will precede the awards, attended by shortlisted candidates and science editors.
